Haul-away of what is already there

Rock Removal & Hauling

Old gravel, loose stone, a rock pile left after a project, or boulders sitting in the wrong place can be loaded and hauled away after we review what is there.

This is haul-away of loose, accessible rock. It is not excavation and it is not blasting by default. Dense rock is limited by weight, so the nominal 57-cubic-yard truck body volume is not rock payload.

All requests are subject to material, equipment, legal payload and site review.

What we review for removal

  • Loose rock piles and leftover stone from past projects
  • Old gravel and crusher run you want gone
  • Cleared rock from a fence line, field or lot
  • Boulders that are already loose and reachable
  • Mixed piles with soil, concrete or brush, reviewed separately

What we need to know

  • Rock type and size, and whether it is loose or embedded in the ground
  • Estimated quantity in tons or cubic yards, or pile dimensions
  • Where the pile sits and how a truck and loader would reach it
  • Whether other material is mixed in, such as dirt, concrete or roots
  • Where the rock should go, if you have a use for it on another site

Access, loading and weight

  • Loading depends on safe reach to the pile and room for the truck.
  • Every load is planned around legal payload and axle limits, so dense rock means smaller loads.
  • Rock set in the ground, ledge and anything needing digging or blasting is outside the default scope.
  • Disposal or receiving locations are subject to acceptance of the material.

Who this is for

  • Homeowners with a leftover pile after landscaping or a build
  • Contractors clearing a lot before grading
  • Farm and acreage owners removing field stone
  • Property managers resetting a worn gravel lot
  • Owners following up land clearing or storm cleanup

Not included by default

  • Excavation or digging out embedded rock by default
  • Blasting of any kind
  • Hauling material we cannot legally or safely load or place

How the quote process works

  1. 01

    Tell us what is there

Rock type, pile size, location and any mixed material.

  2. 02

    We review

We check loose versus embedded rock, weight, access and where it goes.

  3. 03

    Quote the scope

You get a plain scope of what will be loaded and hauled.

  4. 04

    Load and haul

We schedule the work around equipment, weight limits and site conditions.

Rock Removal & Hauling questions

Do you dig rock out of the ground?

Not by default. Removal here means loading loose, accessible rock. Digging out embedded stone is not included, and we say so in review.

Do you do blasting?

No. Blasting is not part of this service.

How much rock fits in the grapple truck?

We do not publish a number. Rock is limited by weight, not the nominal 57-cubic-yard body, so the load depends on rock type and legal payload.

Can you remove a mixed pile of dirt, concrete and rock?

Often it can be reviewed. Mixed material may be handled differently, and concrete and demolition debris are covered on our demolition page.

What if the rock is still in a trench or slope?

That likely needs excavation, which is outside the default scope. Describe it and we will tell you honestly.

Do I have to be home?

Not always, but we will want clear access and agreement on exactly which pile is being removed.

Request a Rock Quote
